FRANKFORT, Ky. (March 1, 2004)—Kentucky’s Teacher Scholarship Program is able to aid students who desire to become teachers disburse for their college edification.

Anderson County’s Julie Wise said the Teacher Scholarship aided her get her goal of becoming an educator. “The KHEAA scholarship gave money that afforded me the chance … to turn out to be a classroom teacher in Kentucky,” said Wise, who works at Robert B. Turner Elementary in Lawrenceburg. The learning, she said, “is an investment in Kentucky’s prospect by allowing hopeful teachers the financial support they require to get good training.”
